More Lacock Pictures!

As promised here are the last few photos from my afternoon spent in Lacock the other week. The first few were taken inside the house and then the last few are of the pretty village itself:) Hope you like them!

That's all of the photos from my day out to Lacock. I really enjoyed just spending the afternoon revisiting the village after such a long time! It's a lovely place to just go and spend a few hours walking around and for me it's just a short drive away from where I live! Definitely want to visit again before I head back to Uni next month!
Thanks for reading:)

A Lovely Day Spent in Lacock!

I've been meaning to upload this post on here for too long now!! It's about 3 weeks ago now since Mum, Dad and I visited Lacock for a few hours. Lacock is a really pretty, timeless village (it still looks pretty much like it did many, many years ago)! It’s also quite famous because not only were some scenes for Harry Potter filmed there but quite a few other films/television series too, e.g. Cranford with Judi Dench!  Lacock is not too far away from where we live but I haven’t actually been there for a few years so it was nice to go back again. We visited Lacock Abbey where we walked round the gardens and then the Abbey itself and also looked around the house. I’ve walked round the Abbey before but not for a long time and it’s really weird to imagine Harry Potter being filmed there especially when all the films are being shown on TV at the moment! I couldn’t remember what the house looked like at all so it was interesting to look around it again but it was a relief when we finally stepped back out into the fresh air (it was pretty humid in there haha!) After the Abbey and a cup of tea (essential) we walked round the village itself. I think because Lacock is so close to where I live and I’ve been so many times that I've always taken for granted how cute and pretty it is! Since I got my camera for my 18th Birthday nearly 2 years ago, I have really got into taking photos wherever I go. I think that taking lots of photos has actually made me appreciate places like Lacock more because I take more notice of them! Anyway I took some photos whilst we there and I thought I would share them, so here they are! Hope you like them:)

There were SO many bees on all the plants!

HARRY POTTER!! ;)
