Home for Christmas
So I'm finally home for Christmas! My first few months as a 2nd year were soo stressful especially the past few weeks where my life has been nothing but coursework all day and every day! It was such a relief to finally submit all four pieces of coursework last week!
I'm SO excited for Christmas. As I write this it is exactly one week away and I am sat in my living room, with the christmas tree all lit up, changing colour. I think this is probably my favourite time of the year, I love the run up to Christmas, it's so magical :)
I'm off to London tomorrow to see all the lights etc. so I'll definitely be uploading some photos from that on here!

More Lacock Pictures!
As promised here are the last few photos from my afternoon spent in Lacock the other week. The first few were taken inside the house and then the last few are of the pretty village itself:) Hope you like them!
That's all of the photos from my day out to Lacock. I really enjoyed just spending the afternoon revisiting the village after such a long time! It's a lovely place to just go and spend a few hours walking around and for me it's just a short drive away from where I live! Definitely want to visit again before I head back to Uni next month!

A Lovely Day Spent in Lacock!
I've been meaning to upload this post on here for too long now!! It's about 3 weeks ago now since Mum, Dad and I visited Lacock for a few
hours. Lacock is a really pretty, timeless village (it still looks pretty much
like it did many, many years ago)! It’s also quite famous because not only were
some scenes for Harry Potter filmed there but quite a few other films/television series too, e.g. Cranford with Judi Dench! Lacock is not too far away from where we live but I haven’t actually been there
for a few years so it was nice to go back again. We visited Lacock Abbey where
we walked round the gardens and then the Abbey itself and also looked around the
house. I’ve walked round the Abbey before but not for a long time and it’s
really weird to imagine Harry Potter being filmed there especially when all the
films are being shown on TV at the moment! I couldn’t remember what the house
looked like at all so it was interesting to look around it again but it was a
relief when we finally stepped back out into the fresh air (it was pretty humid
in there haha!) After the Abbey and a cup of tea (essential) we walked
round the village itself. I think because Lacock is so close to where I live
and I’ve been so many times that I've always taken for granted how cute and pretty it
is! Since I got my camera for my 18th Birthday nearly 2 years ago, I
have really got into taking photos wherever I go. I think that taking lots of
photos has actually made me appreciate places like Lacock more because I take
more notice of them! Anyway I took some photos whilst we there and I thought I
would share them, so here they are! Hope you like them:)

I have still got some more photos that I want to share on here so I'll upload another post soon!

| Beautiful evening! It was so relaxing just looking out at this view! |
So there are the last of my photos from my holiday! I did take a LOT more but if I was to put all of them on here it would definitely get boring haha! I chose the ones I think best showed what a beautiful place St. Wolfgang is! It was so amazing to wake up everyday and be able to look out at the lake and mountains surrounding you. Definitely a view you wouldn't tire of! The Hotel we stayed in was also really nice, everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I really enjoyed the week we spent there and would definitely go back again! Anyway that's enough of me rambling on, hope you liked this post!

St. Wolfgang
Last week I was on holiday in Austria, relaxing in the lakes and mountains! It was so lovely to get away and just be in such a beautiful place for a while. We stayed in a really nice hotel which was right by the lake and it had its own swimming pool outside as well as one inside. The outside pool was definitely a pool with a view it was so surreal to swim in a warm outdoor pool with a cold lake surrounding you (the pool was literally floating on the lake). There was also a jacuzzi which was like heaven it was soo warm and it was the most relaxing thing just sitting in it looking out at the mountains around you. We stayed in a place called St. Wolfgang and it really is a beautiful place. When we were there it was always busy and there was always something going on. During the day it's quite touristy but by the evening it's quieter although it's still full of life with those who live there and those who were also holidaying there. I don't want to ramble on too much because I have quite a few photos so they will show some of the things we did and what the place is like :) We were also really lucky as most of the time the weather was sunny and hot! One afternoon we had a thunderstorm but even then the lake and mountains looked so pretty!
| I literally love flying! Being above the clouds is something I find so amazing haha! |
